AquaFund and Bart’s Health NHS Trust have been named as finalists for ‘Water Management’ at the 2Degrees Champion Awards 2014.

The Awards recognise the individuals and companies driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of sustainable business, as voted for by their peers.

As part of its commitment to reducing its environmental impact,  Barts Health NHS Trust teamed up with water efficiency experts ADSM (AquaFund) to reduce water consumption, save costs and help to sustain the UK’s water supplies.

So far the Bart’s Health project has delivered a saving of over 480 million litres of water and cut costs by £960,000, along with improving the environmental impacts of the Trust’s buildings and reducing CO2e.

The Award winners will be unveiled at a prestigious black-tie ceremony at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday,  9 July.
